Inktober 2020, week one

This year for Inktober, I wanted to commit to using all 31 days to create one single project. Inspired by Halloween, my love of horror movies, and my first Inktober drawing of Tim Curry, I’ve chosen to celebrate horror movie icons with a banner of all my ink drawings during October.

Tim Curry kicks off day one as Pennywise followed by the classic movie monster from Frankenstein. For day 3, I celebrate one of my favorite movies, Train to Busan, with a drawing of the zombie train attendant. Then, I spent several days in bed fighting off pain and illness.

A few days and a negative COVID-19 test later, I drew Chucky and Annabelle to try to catch up. Dolls and kids are my horror movie kryptonite! (But I love it.)

Friday family movie night was Beetlejuice and my kids convinced me he belongs on the banner too. I wasn’t considering him because I didn’t think he was really “scary” but he is a classic. I’m glad he’s represented.
